About Vinitha Pu

Vinitha is a graphic designer based in Palakkad, Kerala. She studied Textile and Apparel Design at Avinashilingam University before moving into graphic and digital design, and completed a C-Tech in Graphic Design at Image Creative Education in 2025. She builds free online tools that solve problems she has run into herself, starting each project from a real frustration rather than a gap in a market. She founded Joteo Calculator in 2026 and leads its design, working with authors and developers who write and check the explanations and logic behind each tool.

From textile design to graphic design

Vinitha holds a bachelor’s degree in Textile and Apparel Design from Avinashilingam University in Coimbatore (2016). The course gave her a grounding in technical and fashion sketching, pattern making, draping, dyeing and fabric printing, and a habit of thinking about how something is made as well as how it looks.

In 2025 she completed a C-Tech in Graphic Design at Image Creative Education in Palakkad. The training covered digital illustration, visual composition and layout, concept development, typography, branding and visual storytelling for both print and digital work, using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.

Skills and tools

• Design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects, plus Maya and Nuke for animation and visual effects.
• Craft: concept development, storyboarding, creative ideation, typography, colour theory and layout.
• Languages: English, Malayalam and Tamil.

Her role on Joteo

Vinitha founded Joteo Calculator in 2026 and leads its design.
